A stakeholder engagement meeting was held on the 4th of February 2026 to review feedback on the proposed MSc in Rehabilitation curriculum at KCMC University. Participants expressed strong support for the programme and recognized its relevance to current community needs and service gaps.
One representative from a non-governmental organisation described: “This is an excellent program. I feel that it should have started yesterday. The need is huge in the community. Congratulations for establishing this program”. The overall feedback emphasized the importance of strengthening interdisciplinary content, minimising the number of courses under each professional exit, and including specific courses and practical training components in alignment with workforce demands.
Key recommendations focused on maintaining quality and professional standards while accelerating implementation to meet the growing rehabilitation needs in the community.
